May 25, 2007 - Stir-fry Pork, Costa Rica style

Stir-fry Pork

Heat oil in one deep pan, add finely chopped (picado), cook till caramelized
1/3 onion
3 cloves garlic
1/2 sweet red chili pepper

Add strips of 3 Pork chops (chuletas), brown on both sides

Add diced
1/2 beet (fresh)
1 carrot

Stir in
Chinese sauce (like soy sauce, but thicker)
Lizano
coriander
black pepper
1 sliced camote (root vegetable similar to a potato, but sweeter)

When veggies are ¨al dente¨ add (only to warm them, not to cook them)
1 small diced apple
cooked rice

-- takes about 1 hour total
