I started to take a shower this morning, when I noticed there´s _no_ soap! What happened to it?! After a bit of looking around, it occurs to me to look down the drain - sure enough, there it is - out of reach, and slowly melting :(. I used the hand-soap...
The drains here are interesting - most are just a hole in the tile or sink-bottom, and go straight down (through a pipe if you are lucky; sometimes directly to the ground underneath). No trap at all. If you drop something and it makes it to the hole, you are sunk - it is GONE!
Something to remember to bring for the long haul - those little drain covers that trap hair, etc. They will also stop the soap!
