We missed all the rodeos and bullfights so far this season (that’s what I get for not paying attention), but the Palmares Fiesta is coming up! (www.fiestaspalmares.com). It starts January 16, and ends the 28th. The big tope (huge parade of horses and oxcarts) is scheduled for the 17th.
I can’t wait to see how a big, well-known fiesta compares to the small one we attended in Nosara.
