Hot Honey Lemonade

4 teaspoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice
2 teaspoons honey
1 packet splenda
Water to finish filling a mug

microwave 1 minute

Any chance the lemons you are referring to are the yellow (Persian?) medium sized football-shaped ones that are common in the US? If they are what you found at Mer. Borbon, what are they called here in CR?

I finally learned that the green limes we are used to in the US are called 'limon de mesina' here in CR. I see those in net bags in Mas X Menos in Alajuela. Sometimes they are on sale for a really cheap price. They are great for limeade. I sweeten mine with Stevia.

Hi Paul - nope, these are round, with very thin skins, almost no pith. But they sure taste like proper lemons :-). I'm starting to think of things like lemon meringue pie...
